TITLE: Fuel Duel
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY:Arun Kumar Kolli, MS Arush, Bhuwan Chandra and Jagdish, makers of Fuel Duel, are all pursuing a diploma course in animation engineering from Arena Animation, Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad. This film, their first group project in 2D animation, was executed as part of a semester-end project.
SYNOPSIS:
Man has been using up fuel at such an alarming rate that we could soon run out of gas on planet earth. Fuel Duel is an animated short film that brings up the ongoing clash of interests between the various fuel sources available to mankind and even suggests a humorous return to natural vehicles as a means of extending our existence on earth. In an interesting way the film depicts the journey of human evolution and shows how human beings have become excessively dependent on machines, especially motorcycles and cars as part of the urban lifestyle. The changing mode of transportation has led to excessive use of fuel, resulting in widespread pollution. The film gives a clear message that one day man has to go back to its roots and shows why it is crucial to save fuel to save our future.
